Subject: [euron-dist] Point Cloud Library (PCL) pays student developers for
open source contributions
To: euron-dist at iais.fraunhofer.de
The open source Point Cloud Library (PCL) project is looking for talented
junior developers for open source development. With a large community of
over 500 contributors, and more than 100 million hits on all its domains to
date, PCL has been growing rapidly to accommodate the needs of multiple
research communities, including but not limited to: robotics, 3D
perception, computer vision, GIS, and next-gen digital entertainment.
If you are a student interested in contributing to PCL, while learning to
program better C++ under the guidance and mentorship of core PCL
developers, get in touch with us! There are several code sprints open at
the moment, with more to come. Our code sprint projects are modeled after
the popular Google Summer Of Code (GSOC) initiative. For more information,
please visit http://www.pointclouds.org, and submit your application to
jobs at pointclouds.org.
Best regards,
Alexandru-Eugen Ichim
